Buddha Candle Holder Red Namaste - Medium - 17cm

More Than Another Resin Buddha

There is no shortage of resin Buddha figures in the world. Many are made in large Chinese factories, designed to be produced quickly and to look exactly the same. These Balinese Buddhas have a rather different feeling.

Resin is used to create the form, giving the statues good weight and plenty of fine detail. The character comes afterwards, as the colours, metallic highlights and antiqued details are painted and finished by hand in Bali. Small variations in the finish are part of their charm – a quiet reminder that a person, not just a production line, has worked on them.

Namaskara Mudra (Namaste) this represents the gesture of greeting, prayer and adoration. Light a candle and give your guests a truly zen welcome.
